The BCP Split Deposit Absolute Return Bond offers investors access to the performance of the Carmignac Patrimoine Fund. 25% of your funds are placed in a 12 month deposit account, offering 100% capital security provided by Investec, and assures you of a 5% gross gain (5% AER) on the deposit element.
75% is invested in the Absolute Return Bond. At the end of the 5 year 3 month term, the percentage performance of the fund is calculated. 80% of this growth plus the original capital is paid out. If there is no growth, the return will be 100% of the original capital invested in this part of the Bond.
